Heliobus develops daylight-guidance systems for delivering natural light into below-grade and deep interior spaces.
Heliobus is a Switzerland-based company focused on architectural daylight-guidance solutions. Our work centers on the planning, integration, and performance assessment of systems that redirect daylight into deep interior and below-grade spaces.
We are interested in evidence-based daylight design, including optical performance, visual comfort (e.g., glare risk and luminance distribution), and practical building-physics considerations such as moisture management, ventilation paths, and long-term maintenance.
On this platform we aim to contribute neutral, technical information and share learnings from applied daylight engineering, including comparisons to related approaches (e.g., light wells, light pipes, and light shelves) and the use of standard evaluation methods.
